Due to the holiday break closures, shuttles for the main campus, Downtown and Rosen will resume operations on January 6th, 2024 at the start of the Spring Semester. The HSC route will continue operating through December 18th and will resume January 2nd, 2025.

The team at Parking and Transportation Services is excited for the start of the fall 2025 semester, and we look forward to seeing everyone on campus again! We know the first few weeks of the academic year can be hectic as we all adjust to new schedules and new routines, so we want to provide some parking information to make navigating our roads, parking lots and garages a little easier.

Before You Leave

  • Visit parking.ucf.edu to check the Garage Status and see how many spaces are available before the garage reaches capacity. You can also see the garage status in the UCF Mobile App.
  • Download and use Waze to navigate and avoid congested areas. Traffic congestion and garage closures will be updated in real-time.
  • Arrive early to give yourself enough time to find a spot, especially during the first few weeks of the semester.

On Campus

  • Garages H, D and C are our most popular garages and tend to fill up by 9 a.m. If you’re looking for parking during peak times between 9 a.m. and noon, check out Garages A and I. The garages are only a five-minute walk from most academic buildings on campus and will usually have available parking spaces.
  • Park and Ride: It might be easier and quicker to use our Park and Ride Shuttles. During the first two weeks of the fall semester (Aug. 19-30), we will have two locations for hassle-free parking, available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday:
  • Near the Softball Field: Drops off and picks up at Parking Lot E-4 and Research 1 Bus Loop.
  • Near the Parking and Visitor Information Center: Drops off and picks up at Parking Lot B-6 and the Student Union.
  • Please note that Park and Ride will not be operating Aug. 29 due to Game Day operations.
  • Digital Message Boards will be strategically placed throughout the campus to assist with parking. They display real-time updates on available parking spaces, ensuring you receive the most accurate and current information.
