Parking Event Codes are not limited to large or formal events; they can also be used for guest speakers, departmental visitors, interview candidates, or any individual coming to campus for a single day. If a department anticipates hosting someone who will need parking for a brief visit, submitting an event code request ensures their parking is arranged in advance and avoids any confusion or citations for not having a parking permit during their time on campus.
