During a limited time students, faculty, and staff can donate items that equate to a combined monetary value of $15 or more from the “Items in High Demand List” in exchange for getting a maximum of one unpaid parking citation waived up to a $30 value. All donations are given to Knights Pantry to assist with food insecurity in the UCF community.

When is it?

February 2 – March 6, 2026

Eligibility

Participants: Any current UCF student or employee.
Eligible Citations: Parking Citations of a $30 or less value and registered to the name of the person donating items.
Ineligible Citations:

  • Boot and tow fees
  • Bad check fees
  • False registration
  • Citations issued before December 1, 2025
  • Citations not registered to your vehicle
Donation Requirements

Type of Donations: Only items found on the “Items in High Demand List” from the Knights Pantry website will be accepted.
Condition: Items must be sealed, unopened, not expired, and undamaged. Items sold in a package may not be separated and donated individually.
Minimum Donation: Donation must be of a $15 value or more. Multiple items may be donated together to meet the minimum donation requirement. Gift cards are not accepted. The receipt of purchase of the items you intend to donate will be required at time of donation.

Terms and Conditions
  • Must not have received more than three (3) citations issued since December 1, 2025.
  • Parking citations that have already been paid cannot be refunded.
  • Donations must be delivered in person to the Visitor and Parking Information Center office during business hours (Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm).
  • Citation must be registered to the person dropping off donations.
  • Items obtained from the Knights Pantry will not be accepted as a donation in order to waive your citation.
  • Must not have a vehicle immobilization on your account at any point between December 1, 2025 – March 6, 2026.
