Note:
Please be aware that all cart travel (non-street legal electric & gas powered
carts, Cushman Carts, Gators, etc.) must utilize the re-established cart path
that travels beside the recreational fields on the south part of campus as
indicated on the Public Safety Center Parking Plan Map. Carts are not to travel
on the sidewalk, in the bicycle lane or directly on Libra. Only street legal
carts (i.e., GEM cars) may travel on Libra. Libra is and will become very
congested in the future as the Public Safety Center is being constructed. The
old temporary cart path adjacent to Libra is no longer accessible. Although it
appears that it is, it is being utilized by contractors only to mobilize
equipment and supplies for the Public Safety Project and Phase II of the
Physical Sciences Project. We have re-established the old cart trail beside
the recreation fields on the south part of campus for cart use. If you plan
cart travel to the Police Department, Facilities and Safety, Physical Plant or
to Research Park, you must utilize the re-established cart trail beside the
recreational field area. Beginning Monday, June 29th, failure to follow these
rules will result in corrective action thru the Police Department. We are
